Technical leadership for projects that cannot afford failure.

Willson Management and Projects provides building enclosure commissioning and owner-side project leadership for complex projects across Western Canada and North America.

Based in Calgary. Supporting projects across Western Canada and North America.

Buildings are long-term investments. The decisions made during design and construction have lasting consequences — and the most costly problems are the ones that weren't caught early.

Willson Management and Projects works alongside owners and project teams on complex new construction and renewal projects. We specialize in building enclosure commissioning and owner-side technical leadership, bringing senior-level expertise directly to the work — not managed from a distance.

We are based in Calgary and support projects across Western Canada and North America.

How We Support Owners and Project Teams

We provide specialized technical and advisory services across the project lifecycle.

Owner’s Representative & Project Leadership

We provide owner-side technical leadership for complex capital projects — acting as an extension of your team from early planning through construction and closeout. Mark Willson leads this service line, bringing over two decades of experience as a consultant, contractor, and owner's representative across institutional, civic, and commercial sectors.

We align stakeholders, reduce risk, and protect project outcomes so you can make confident decisions at every stage.

Building Enclosure Commissioning & Technical Advisory

We help owners and design teams reduce technical risk through building enclosure commissioning (BECx), envelope investigations, and performance-focused design and construction support. Saphron Skinner-Willson leads this service line, with over 13 years of building enclosure experience across Western Canada and North America.

Our focus is durability, constructability, and long-term performance — particularly in cold and demanding climates.

Education, Speaking & Industry Leadership

Our team contributes to the industry through speaking, standards development, and professional association leadership. We bring current thinking back to the projects we support — and help translate technical knowledge into practical insight for project teams across North America.

Planning a project or preparing a proposal?

We work with owners, institutions, and project teams on complex projects across Western Canada and beyond. Whether you're assembling a team, planning a scope, or evaluating options — we are straightforward to work with and easy to engage early.

We bring a specialized, collaborative approach to every project we support.

Senior-led delivery. Every project is led by a principal. You work directly with the person doing the work — not an account manager handing it downstream.

Early engagement, by design. The most consequential decisions happen before construction starts. We structure our work to be most useful where it matters most: early.

Cold climate expertise. Our projects are rooted in Western Canadian conditions, where building enclosure performance is not a finishing touch — it's a fundamental requirement.

Embedded collaboration. We work inside the project team, not at arm's length from it. Our value comes from being present, informed, and proactive — not from issuing reports after the fact.

Industry-connected. We contribute to standards development, professional associations, and industry education across North America. That work keeps our practice current and our clients ahead of the curve.
